- Sawfish with depressed anteriorly; short, massive rostrum with elongated
sawtooth; pectoral fins high and angular, Caudal fin with short ventral
lobe. Grey or olive grey body, ventral pale. Attains 6.5 m.
ระบบนิเวศ :

- Carnivorous, fishes and shellfishes. Coastal, regulary visit lower reaches.

- Recently disappeared, globally Endangered (EN) in IUCN Red List. Habitat

- lost and overfishing.
