- Deep body; blunt snout, with sligthly upturned mouth; short dorsal fin
base, 13-15 branched rays; scales small, 34-35 lateral-line scales. Plain
silvery grey with olive or greenish hue, no spots on body; fins dusky; iris
reddish. Attains 30 cm.
ระบบนิเวศ :

- Herbivorous, plant matter and algae grazers. Mainstreams, tributaries and
marshlands. Habitat lost.
