- 152-156 cm. Very large waterbird; naked red head and upper neck diagnostic, long bill; reddish legs; light grey body plumage with blackish flight feathers and primary coverts, secondaries whitish grey.

country. Former records were from Chiang Rai; Chiang Mai; Kham Phang
Phet; Nakhon Sawan; Ratchaburi; Phetchaburi; Chumphon; Songkhla;
Pattani; Satun.
