- Fresh Water

- Carnivorous, smaller fishes, insect. Two populations in hillstreams and
caves. Habitat lost.

- Cheek inflated in adults males; vomerine teeth present in 2 separate patches;
4 mandibular barbels; dorsal fin rudiment, anal fin base long, caudal fin
truncate. Dark olive brown in surface population; pale pink or yellow in
cave form. Attains 10 cm.

- Endemic to Meklong/WeFCOM.
